What Data We Collect

Account Information

  • Email address - For account creation and login
  • Display name - Optional name you choose
  • Profile picture - Optional avatar

Your Content

  • Notes, documents, kanban boards - Everything you create
  • Widget data - Dashboard configurations
  • File uploads - Images and documents you add

Usage Data

  • App usage - Which features you use
  • Device info - App version, device type
  • Error logs - To fix bugs and improve the app

Reports and Abuse Prevention

When you report publicly shared content, we collect the report category, any details you add, and your user ID if you are signed in. For anonymous reports, we briefly use your IP address to create a pseudonymous code for rate limiting and abuse prevention. Neith stores the code, not the raw IP address, in its application database. Cloudflare may also process browser and network signals as part of Neith's security and bot-protection services.

Why We Process It

We process account and content data to provide Neith under our agreement with you. We rely on our legitimate interests to keep Neith secure and reliable, prevent abuse, and moderate public content. We may also process data when required by law.

Data Storage

  • Supabase - Open-source secure cloud service
  • Encrypted - Your data is encrypted in transit and at rest
  • Your control - You can delete your data anytime

  • Access - See what data we have about you
  • Delete - Ask us to delete your personal data where applicable
  • Export - Download your data
  • Update - Change your account information
  • Restrict or object - Ask us to limit or stop certain processing

Data Sharing

We use a small number of providers to run Neith:

  • Supabase - Account services, cloud storage, sync, security, and standard request processing
  • Cloudflare - Website delivery, security, bot protection, and aggregate traffic statistics
  • Stripe - Subscription and payment processing; Neith does not store your card details
  • Neith AI (currently powered by Google Gemini) - Content you choose to send through Neith's AI features
  • Legal requirements - If required by law

Age Requirement

Neith is for users aged 18 and older. We don't knowingly collect personal data from anyone under 18.

Data Retention

  • Account data - Until you delete your account
  • Content - Until you delete it
  • Usage data - Up to 2 years for app improvement
  • Reports and abuse prevention - Inactive rate-limit records are removed after 7 days; reports are retained only as long as reasonably needed for moderation and security
